Broussard hit on seven of nine
field goal attempts and made two
at the charity line to lead the
Aggies over the Hogs. '
Jerry Carlton, Arkansas’ fine
playmaker and scorer who is sec
ond to SMU’s Jan Loudermilk in
SWC scoring, took top honors in
the contest with 24 points. Carl
ton, who is thira in the nation
in free throw accuracy, made good
on 10 out of 11 from the charity
line and Tommy Boyer, the na
tion’s leader in that department,
hit on five or six attempts.
Four other Aggies hit the double
figures in scoring—Jerry Wind
ham and Benny Johnson with 16
each, Bennie Lenox with 14, and
Johnson with 11.
Dave Johnson, the Aggies’ 6-1
sophomore guard, played one of
his finest games as he grabbed
nine reounds and held Carlton to
only four points in the second half.
In the first half the Aggies
could shoot only 30 per cent from
the field and the Hogs went to
the dressing room with an eight-
point lead after the score had been
knotted fbur times and the lead
changed hands eight times.
Then in the second half Coach
Bob Rogers’ Cadets came out and
hit on 22 of 32 attempts from the
floor. Broussard started hitting
hie patented looping jump shot and
the Aggies grabbed the lead which
the Hogs could never regain.
A&M controlled the boards—
50-42—and outshot the Razor-
backs, 49 to 40 per cent.
The Aggies travel to Lubbock
to battle Texas Tech tonight.

COEDS"
COEDS AND SUPERCOEDS. Coeds accept a Friday-night date on Friday after
noon. Supercoeds have to keep date books. Coeds wear black and gray. Super-
coeds wear green and red and yellow. Coeds talk about "The College.”
Supercoeds discuss the world. Coeds smoke dainty, tasteless cigarettes that
they think proper. Supercoeds smoke Luckies because Luckies taste better.
There are many supercoeds, because college students smoke more Luckies than
any other regular. Are you a supercoed?
