Baptist Student Center To Host Social Events
■ The Baptist Student Center will
he the scene of two social events
planned for Baptist students by
the Texas A&M Baptist Student
Union.
The first event is a Married Stu
dents’ Fellowship, scheduled for
6:30 p.m., June 23. Homemade ice
cream, games, and fellowship are
the order for the early portion of
the program.
Dr. R. H. Boss, pastor of First
Baptist Church, Bi’yan, will speak
and lead a discussion on the topic,
“If You Go West.” Dr. Poss for-
merly served as a mission pastor
in California, and his presentation
will be of special interest to Christ
ian students who anticipate after-
graduatioh work and Christian wit
ness in the far-west.
All Baptist Married Students,
their families, and their guests are
invited to participate in the entire
program. A nursery will be avail
able.
On June 26, the BSU Summer
Social will offer ice cream, recrea
tion, and inspiration for all Bap
tist students. Games will begin at
6:00 p.m., and the program will
conclude at 8. Those attending will
have the opportunity to become
better acquainted with the BSU
ministry and program.
Arrangements for the Summer
Social are under the direction of
Jack Connor, BSU Social Chair
man.
