Sponsor of A&M’s only official bowling team, this committee promotes studies the various MSC activity committees in order to help make the bowling tournaments among A&M students and with other colleges and MSC student program as effective as possible in accomplishing its aim to universities. * serve the students of A&M, BRIDGE . . . convenes weekly to play bridge and discuss plays. Beginners are always welcome. BROWSING LIBRARY . . . is in charge of selecting periodicals and books placed in the MSC library and determining policy for its use. CAMERA CLUB . . . The Camera Club, with its fully equipped darkrooms brings outstanding photo exhibits to the MSC and sponsors club contests. CREATIVE ARTS . . . provides free art lessons to Aggies in all types of art—oils, watercolor, sketching, leather work, ceramics, metals, plastic and woodwork. Also organizes art exhibits for the MSC promenade area. DANCE . . . sponsors instruction in all types of ballroom dancing and numerous dances during' the yeai, including’ the famous Ag’g'ie version of a French nig'htclub o Ca f e o5“ e ^ ina ’ Ie ’’- Registration for Dance Classes will begin Tuesday! Sept. 27 m the Ballroom. FILM SOCIETY . . . shows films that have remained high on the list of motion picture triumphs through the years. Committee members select and make arrangements for showing these films. FLYING KADETS . . . Organized for all students on the campus who are interested in flying. Members who do not fly, but are interested in areonautics, are welcome.. This year the committee will host the National Intercollegiate Flying Meet April 27-30, 1961. GREAT ISSUES . . . presents annually a group of internationally and nationally known speakers, discussing topics of interest to the student body, college staff and com munity. Presentations sponsored by this committee are open to all students who have paid their student activity fee. Community and college staff may purchase tickets in the MSC Directorate Office. HOUSE . . . functions as a student service committee, arranging for a lost-and-found auction, sponsoring receptions and many other civic services. Gives its members an excellent opportunity to meet people.
