A government major, High said “the conference has been enlight ening, well-prepared and has pre sented some very good ideas.” Provides Awareness Bob Eaton, junior speech major at Howard Payne, said that SCONA “is something that is needed be cause 4>f its purpose.” He said h helps to provide to our future lead ers an awareness of international problems. “The speakers have been very stimulating,” he said. “They have presented basic issues, basic ques tions and basic information on how to get along and understand oth ers in the world.” Eaton said he appreciated the privilege to attend SCONA aipi hopes he can attend again next year. “These four days could be the most important four days of my life,” he said. “It stimulates one to think of America’s attitude— what is it, and what it should be.” He was very impressed with Ag- gieland, noting the spirit, friend liness and helpfulness of the Ag gies.
