General Medaris is the commander
of the Army Ordance Missile Com
mand and chief of the United
States’ Space Program. He holds
the Legion of Merit with Oak Leaf
Cluster and has successfully com
pleted the development of the Red
stone and Jupiter Missile Systems.
Dr. Nabor Carrillo
Dr. Carrillo is the rector for the
largest university in Mexico and
is now serving as president of the
National Academy of Sciences. He
is Scientific Director of the Study
of Sinking of Mexico City for the
National Institute of Scientific Re
search.

Ambassador Gunewardene, Ambas
sador of Ceylon, has recently been
re-elected Chairman of the Human
Rights Commission and appointed
concurrently Ceylon’s Minister
Plenipotentiary and Envoy Extra
ordinary to Cuba and Mexico. He
has also served as vice president
to the U.N. General Assembly.
Howard R. Bowen
Dr. Bowen, president of Grinnell
College in Iowa is one of America’s
most outstanding economists. He
has been consultant to a number of
federal and state agencies. In 1949
he was a member of the United
State tax mission to Japan which
reorganized their tax system.

Special Representative to the State
of Hungary and former New Zea
land Ambassador to the United
States. Since arriving in the
United States in 19. r )2, Sir Leslie
has served on a number of sessions
and councils in the United Nations.

Lawrence is the president of the
National Press Club and New York
Times Correspondent in the Wash
ington Bureau. He is an inter
national traveler and has worked
in his chosen field from numerous
areas of the world.
