The team, organized in 1947, is composed of freshmen from both Army and Air Force, ROTC units. All members drill after 5 p.m. on a strictly voluntary basis. These freshman not only have to be on their toes on the drill field, they also have to be sharp in their studies by keeping at least a 1.5 grade point ratio. Rich ards said this team could be open to all upper classmen. It could be a good representative of the whole college in competition drill meets, Richards added. Faculty coordinator for the Freshman Drill Team, is Air Force Cant. Grange S. Coffin Jr., who also volunteers his time to organ ize trips and transportation for the team. The team’s commander is Ben B. Rice, a freshman, ex-Marine in “A” Ordnance. Executive officer for the team is Gregory A. Gar cia of Squadron 6. David G.
