Methodist Revival
Will Begin Sunday
The A&M Methodist Church

The Rev. James A. Argrte, of
the A&M Methodist Church, said
the first meeting: will be a spec
ial service honoring’ new members
who have united with the church
since June 1, 19. r )8. Time for the
service is 7 p.m.
The first in a weekly series of
brief lay witnesses will be given
by Mrs. Joe Mogford, local artist
and housewife. Special music will
feature the Aggie Quartet under
the direction of Don Royall.
The evening prayer will be led
by Mrs. L. V. Hawkins, president
of the Woman’s Society of Christ
ian Service, which is sponsoring
this, week’s service. Following
worship, the first weekly fellow
ship period will take place.
Sunday’s guest speaker is
founder of a new church in Beau
mont. Since his work began, the
church has enjoyed a tremendous
growth, said Rev. Argue.
The host pastor extends a cor
dial invitation to everyone to
hear Rev. Williams.

HIALEAH, Fla. CP)—Dates for
Hialeah Park’s two feature races
of the 1959 winter season have
been set. The $100,000 added Wid-
ener for 3-year-olds and up at one
mile and a quarter will be run
Feb. 21. The $100,000 added Flam
ingo for 3-year-olds at one mile
and an eighth is set for Feb. 28.

their regular meeting Thursday
night at 7:30 in the Memorial
Student Center. Officers will be
