The matches will be held at Yt. Hood to determine the beat col lege rifle team under the jurisdic tion of the Foufth Army. According to Capt Hartnell, as siataat professor of Military 8ci enee and Tactics, 80 cadets will be firing the 22 caliber rifle for rec ord this Week The 10 cadets hav ing the highest scores will make up the Cadet Army RifW Team The team will fire the standard caliber 30 M-l rifle. All jacket*, glove*, ammunition and sight* will be furnished at government ex pense The Twin City Junior Rifle Club will offer a course in hunting safety starting Oct. 11. The safety course will consist of nine hours of lecture, film and demonstration on gun safety and other subjects of interest to the hunter. The meetings will be held at the new U. S. Army Training Center at Bomber Drive and Carson St Time for the meetings is 2 p.m on Saturday Oct 11 and 25 and Nov 8 and 16.
