Summer Jobs May
Be Competitive
Summer employment for under
graduate students and faculty
members is expected to be compet
itive this year, according to Wen
dell R. Horsley, director of the
Placement Office.
“We suspect that employers will
be somewhat more selective this
year than last if the pattern fol
lowed in senior interviews thus far
is any indication,” Horsley said.
Horsley urges all students and
faculty members who are inter
ested in summer employment to
complete a copy of the summer
employment registration form and
file it with the placement office.
Faculty members who wish
to be interviewed with the seniors
should contact the office to find
out when the employers will be on
the campus.
As replies are received by the
office, notices of job opportunities
will be sent out to applicants.
