DOW There is a store that is displaying this scene of Christ’s birth in all its beautiful simplicity. People ■walk by the window and stop and look—and when they go on again the tired lines seem to he erased from their faces. For the moment, they have forgotten the “hustle and bustle” of holi day preparations. Instead, the peace of Christmas drifts over them like the softly falling snow. Look at those beautifully carved fig ures and at that tiny babe. Makes you realize, doesn’t it, that Christmas after all, is the birth day of our Lord, and should be celebrated first of all where most birthdays are celebrated—at home. In this case, that means the Church. THE CHURCH FOR ALL . . . ALL FOR THE CHURCH The Church is the greatest iac- tor on earth for the building oi character and good citizenship. It is a storehouse of spiritual values Without a strong Church, neither democracy nor civilization can survive There are tour sound reasons why every person should attend services regularly and sup port the Church. They are (1) For his own sake. (2) For his children s sake (3) For the sake of his community and nation. (4) For the sake of the Church itself, which needs his moral and ma terial support Plan to go to church regularly and read your Bible dally. Day Sunday .
