LOST
1
Dry those tears. Sonny. The Law has
brought you home.
But when you’re grown up, don’t get
lost then—for the Law won’t be able to
bring you home!
Sure, grown-ups often get lost. They
choose the wrong road, they take the
wrong turn, they depend on the wrong
ideas, they seek the wrong aims. And
some of them get lost again and again.
Why can’t the Law bring them home,
too? Well, when a grown-up gets lost
he generally does a lot of harm to him
self and others. And then it’s the job
of the Law to protect people from the
harm lie is doing.
But, Sonny, when you grow up you’re
not going to get lost. We have thou
sands of churches for youngsters like
you—and for your parents, too.
Churches teach us to find ourselves
before we have a chance to get lost.
THE CHURCH FOR ALL . . .
ALL FOR THE CHURCH
The Church is ihe rjreaiest {ac
tor on earth for Ihe building of
character and good eftizenship. It
is a storehouse of spiritual values.
Without a strong Church, neither
democracy nor civilization can
survive. There are four sound
reasons why every person should
attend services regularly and sup
port the Church. They are: (I)
For his own sake (2) For his
children's sake. t3) Tor the sake
of his community and nation. (4)
For the sake of the Church itself,
which needs his moral and ma
terial support. Plan to go to
church regularly and read your
Bible daily.
