If you would, then you are like most people. Everyone needs a retreat, at moments. And everyone has one! It isn’t a mountain cabin or a seaside cot tage—but it is a place far better suited to prayer and contemplation, a place to sort out old errors and make new resolutions. It is your church. Let your church be your sanctuary. Go to it when you are troubled. You will find within its walls your moment of peace, and you will walk out into the street again far better able to make the most of your life.
