Rosters for teams to compete in the 12th Man Bowl Dec. 18 are now complete and no further addi tions will be accepted, according to the Student Senate’s 12th Man Bowl committee. The committee made the an nouncement after additional stu dents made a bid to be included on one of the teams. Candidates for players on the teams were submitted Nov. 26, and player selection ended then, the committee said. This year’s teams will be called Army and Air Force. Player can didates came from names submit ted by athletic officers from each outfit, dorm and housing area. One name was submitted from each corps outfit, four came from each civilian dormitory, four from project houses and day students and eight were eligible from Col lege View, following rules layed out earlier by the senate. No other name may be added to the rolls even if someone is hurt or has to quit, the committee said. About 25 more students yester day pleaded for a position on the teams to Barney Welsh, intramural sports director. More persons are expected to turn out for this year’s game than ever before. In addition to the spirited game, a crowd-pleasing twirling contest will take the half time limelight. Invitations to twirlers from about 26 schools in a 50-mile area surrounding Colleg’e Station have been sent out, the committee said. Tickets for the match, a benefit game, are 50 cents. Corps athletic officers, floor and dorm represent atives and area representatives are ticket sale agents.
