Our profits, over and above capital needs,
are returned to the student body for
providing recreational facilities on the
campus. During the past eight years some
$450,000.00 or about 8c out of each dollar
spent in the Exchange Store has been so
allocated.
Come to see us when you reach the
campus. Your every merchandise need is
here. We also gift wrap, cash checks,
and render many other services.
Below is a description of our various
departments.
You Engineers and Architects will love this department.
Everything from a drawing pencil to a slide rule can be found.
All the better known brands are in stock. Brands such as
Keuffel and Esser, Eugene Dietzgen and Frederick Post are
featured in drafting instruments and slide rules. All are attrac
tively displayed and courteous sales people are available to
assist you or you may select your own. During the opening
days we will have factory representatives in the store to explain
the merits of their products to you. . ^
Text Book Department
The picture to the left shows a Civil Engineering major
selecting his books in our modern up to date self-service book
department. It's so easy to select your own books! No waiting
In line! You simply walk in, browse through the stacks, select
the books you need and proceed to a check-out stand. Each
shelf is labeled with the course number and each book has a
price tag on the spine showing whether it is new or used.
Courteous attendants are on the floor to assist you in finding
the right departments. Plan now to buy all your books in your
friendly Exchange Store.
Novelty and Stationery Department
Here you will find complete selections of Parker, Sheaffer,
and Esterbrook fountain pens, ball points and mechanical pen
cils. Here also you find many attractive designs of die stamped
college stationery from the Houses of Montag, Charles Elliott,
Carmelle and Eldridcje. Just the thing for writing Mom or the
girl friend. *
Every Aggie likes to have the college seal on his personal
items. We have a dazzling display ranging from belt buckles
to hitch hiking bags. Decals, pennants, stuffed animals, ash
trays or a bracelet for that little dear back home. You name it,
we have it.
