‘Round the World” party at their
meeting Tuesday. Members heard
talks and viewed objects from all
the world.
Three guest ministers will be in
the pulpit of local churches this
weekend. A picnic, watermelon
party and covered dish supper are
also among the schedule of activi
ties for the churches.
A&M Presbyterian Church
Dr. T. Gordan Watts, D. D., re
tired Presbyterian minister now re
siding in Bryan, will have “Keeping
the Lord Jesus in our memory” as
his sermon topic for the 8:45 p. m.
worship services Sunday. Church
School will follow at 9:45. An in
formal song service will be held at
7 p. m. Wednesday for the Presby
terian Student League.
Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church
The Rev. Vernon A. Mohr, Presi
dent of the Texas District of the
American Lutheran Church, will be
guest speaker at 10:45 a. m. ser
vices Sunday. “The Judgment
Awaits Us” is his sermon topic.
Monday evening the Luther League
will hold their business meeting
and Singspiration with Jimmie
Potts, Choral Union leader in
charge.
First Baptist Church
The Rev. Prentice Chunn, pastor
of First Baptist Church, San Mar
cos, will conduct the 11 a. m. wor
ship services Sunday. Rev. Chunn
was formerly BSU Director here.
Church School will meet at 9:30
and Training Union at 7 p. m. will
be followed by the evening wor
ship service at 8. The Lottie Moon
and Aggie Wives Circle will hold a
covered dish supper at the church
at 6:30 tonight. Mrs. R. E. Snuggs
will teach the book Stewartship En
riches Life. Two by two class will
have an ice cream supper in the
patio of the church at 6:30 p. m.

Faith Evangelical and
Reformed Church
Rev. Raymond Buck Jr. will be
in the pulpit at 10:30 services Sun
day speaking on “Motive of Moral
Practice”. Sunday School will be
held at 9:15 a. m. The Women’s
Guild annual picnic will be held at
6:30 tonight on the parsonage lawn.
A meeting will follow in the church.
The Church Council will meet at 8
p. m. Friday.

“What Must I Do to be Saved” is
the sermon topic of Mount Whitson,
at 10:45 a. m. worship services Sun
day. Church School will begin at
9:45 and Young People’s Class will
begin at 6:15 p. m. “Pride’s Re
lation to Judging” is the sermon for
the 7:15 p. m. seiwices continuing in
the series on the Study of the Book
of James. Ladies Bible Class will
meet at 9:30 a. m. Thursday at the

Services will be held at 10 a. m.
Sunday in the YMCA chapel.
St. Mary’s Catholic Chapel
Mass is said at 6 p. m. every
week day. Confessions are heard

The fact that all things are poss

of the City of College Station, Texas:
WHEREAS, the City Zoning Commission
after preliminary consideration and public
hearing has recommended the rezoning of
certain areas of land hereinafter fully de
scribed, now therefore
It is hereby ordered that a public hearing
shall be held in the City Hall at 8:00 p.m.
on August 27, 1956 on the question of re
zoning areas within the city limits as fol
lows:
1. To rezone or change the classification
