Churches Hold
Mid-week Services
A&M Presbyterian Church
Westminister Fellowship will be
h(^ld at 7:15 tonight at the Presby
terian Student Center with a dis
cussion on South Africa Situation.
Murray Milner will lead the discus
sion. Regional Spring Retreat will
be held April 21-22 at Camp Bagby
near Houston. Those who are in
terested, must register tonight.
The group will leave at 1:15 p.m.
Saturday.
Christian Science Society
Services will be held at 8 tonight
at the church, located at Patricia
and Boyette Streets.
B’nai B’rith Hillel Foundation
Cultural meeting will be held at
7:15 tonight in the YMCA. A final
business meeting ‘will be held to
close details for the dance. The
progj-am will feature Sgt. Turner
Buford, Air Science instructor who
will give a talk on hypnotism. So
cial hour will follow.
Wesley Foundation
Song, service and worship will be
held at 7 tonight in the Foundation.
Bill Reveire is in charge of the pro
gram after which refreshments will
be served.
St. Mary’s Catholic Chapel
Mass will be said at 5:15 today
at the chapel.
Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church
Leniel Harbors, president-elect
of the Gulf Region of Lutheran
Students Association of America,
will present a program at 7:30 to
night to the A&M LSA dealing
with the Asham of the Gulf Region
LSA. The Ashram of the Gulf Re
gion will be held April 29 in Round
Rock, Texas and the national Ash-

Chosen For Choir
Two members of the A&M Bap
tist Student Union, Dave Goldston
and Jim Brady, have been chosen
to be members of the All-State
BSU Choir which provides the mu
sic for the State BSU Spring Plan
ning Conference at Latham Springs
this weekend and the State BSU
Convention in Dallas, October 5-7,
later this year.
Students for this choir are se
lected from applicants from about
60 senior and junior college cam
puses throughout the state.

The Senior Ring Committee rules that
the preliminary grades for the Spring
Semester 1956 be considered as the final
grade in determining a student’s eligibility
to order the A. and M. ring. Such students
may now leave their names with the ring
clerk In the Registrar’s office. Their rec
ords will be checked and eligibility for the
ring will be determined by April 12th.
1956.
Orders for the ring will be taken between
April 12th and June 1st for July 10th
delivery. The Ring Clerk is on duty from
8:00 A.M. to 12 noon Tuesdays through
Saturdays each week. Rings must be paid
for In full when placing the order. Rings
may be called for In person or will be
mailed to the student at an additional
charge of twenty-five cents. This must be
paid at the time the order is placed.

Foundations have planned a joint
Spiritual Life Retreat Saturday
and Sunday in Huntsville.
“The Singleness of Christ’s Pur
pose” will be the theme for the re
treat. The Rev. Charles Laing,
director of Huntsville Wesleyites,
will speak on “How This Purpose is
Discovered” and “How This Pur
pose is Expressed.”
Rev. Robert Monk, A&M Wesley
director, has chosen “How This
Purpose is Developed” and “What
Ts it’s Price?” as his topics.
Cars will leave from A&M Wes
ley Foundation at 1 p.m. Saturday
for the private lake near Huntsville *
