Tickets On Sale
For March 2
Annual Dinner
Tickets will g - o on sale next week
for the annual community supper
of A&M Consolidated School sche
duled for March 2 in the g-ymnas-
ium.
Tickets will be 85 cents for
adults and 70 cents for children
for the fried chicken dinner. The
supper is being prepared at Dun
can Hall under the direction of
K. J. Peniston, dining hall super
visor.
The dinner is sponsored by the
Mothers and Dads Club at Con
solidated. Money earned by the
supper will be used to provide
equipment and services for the
school for which there is no avail
able tax money.
Social Whirl
ACC, IE WIVES BRIDCE Club
will meet tonight at 7:30 in the
Memorial Student Center. Hos
tesses will be Barbara Jones and
Patti McAlexander for regulars,
Beverly Noack and Carolyn Mc-
Keefer, intermediates, and Barbara
Merric for beginners.

FOODS CROUP of A&M Social
Club will meet at 1:15 p.m. Fri
day in the A&M Presbyterian
church annex for their monthly
meeting.
AGRICULTURAL END INHER
ING Wives Club will meet at 7:30
p.m. Monday in the Ag. Eng.
Building. A representative of the
Luzier’s Cosmetics Co. will demon
strate correct beaty care.

ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING
Wives Club will meet at 8 p. m.
Monday in social room of Memorial
Student Center. Mrs. Marion Pugh
of Marion Pugh Lumber Co. will
speak on Interior Decorating. The
club will hold a cake bake sale
from 2-5 p.m. Saturday at Miller’s
Grocery Store.

GEOLOGY WIVES Club will
hear Dr. Sidney Hamilton, the
first speaker for Religious Empha
sis Week, instead of their usual
meeting Monday. Dr. Hamilton
will speak on “Helping Children
Become Psychologically Weaned”
at 7:30 p.m. in the YMCA. Re
freshments of coffee and cookies
will be served following the ser
vice. Husbands have been invited
to attend the program planned es
pecially for married couples. The
First Baptist Church has offered
free babysitting with a registered
nurse in attendance at the church.

Wives Club recently elected Wilma
Hackfield to serve as president for
the Spring* semester. Assisting
her are Evelyn Bippert, vice pres
ident; Marsalee Dollency, secre
tary-treasurer and Frances Mc-
Culley, reporter. Meeting have
been changed to 1st and 3rd Tues
days.

Wives Club will meet in room 3D
of the Memorial Student Center
7:30 p.m. Monday. Mrs. Horace
Bass will present a book review
of the translation from the Japa
nese novel, “Homecoming”.
