Tickets are $1.25 general admis sion and $2 and $2.50 for reserved seats. Tatum, self-styled “Clown Prince” of the hardwood, combines comedy antics with basketball wiz ardry. Haynes, billed as the “woi-ld’s greatest dribbler,” keeps opponents confused and audiences delighted with his ball handling dexterity. “The Goose” and Haynes ’MURALS It’ll be mighty A-AAA versus high-flying Sqd. 17 in the upper classman horseshoe championship with the odds indicating a virtual toss-up. Sqd. 17 nosed Sqd. 10, their toughest opponent of the season, by a 2-1 margin. Dave Westfall, Larry Martin, Bob Gleason, Bob Kidd, Larry Southworth and Phil lip Johnson composed the victorious lineup. A-AAA edged A-TC by a similar score with the accurate tossing of Fred Vogelsang, Ronnie Bush, Gene Haddox, Dorman Holder, Dale Avant, and Glen Chandler provid ing the necessary wins. D-FA bounced into semi-final ping-pong by downing Sqd. 1, 4-1. Maroon Band also won its way into the semi-final competition, beating White Band, 3-2. SB • r ’ : ; i<-! ill ? Tatum and Haynes, always scor ing threats, hold records in prac tically every country. But the two harum-scarum Magicians have a habit of feeding balls to other mates like 6-8 Lester Burks and 6-7^ Jerry Johnson. For the Olympians, its 7-1 Bill Spivey who clears the boards in the Easterners’ attack . Spivey’s height also pays off in his famous hook shots from under the basket. While Tatum and Haynes prom ise no mirrors are used, there is no telling what legerdemain they will pull out of their bag of tricks.
