The club will hold its meetings on the second and fourth Thui’sday at 7:30 in the library of the Animal Husbandry Building. * * * CIVIL ENGINEERING Wives Club held then’ covered-dish Christ mas party last week with approxi mately 56 persons attending, in cluding civil engineering professors and their wives. The menu consisted of fried chicken, potato salad, creamed peas, vegetable and fruit salads, hot rolls, coffee and cake. * * * AYMAA, American Veteinnary Medical Association Student Wives Auxiliary, held their Christmas pai’ty Thursday in the social room of the Student Center. Spice tea and a decorated cake were at either end of the table with an angel as centerpiece. A Christ mas decoration was mounted on the piano. The Rev. Mr. Robert L. Dai’wall, local Episcopal minister, spoke to the group on bringing Christmas into the home. * * * RANGE AND FORESTRY Wives Club held their Christmas party Saturday evening in the Hen- sel Park lodge for their husbands and Dr. and Mrs. Vernon A. Young, head of department and sponsor of the club, respectively. The menu consisted of meat loaf, jello salad, potato salad, sweet po tatoes, homemade rolls, relish tray, cokes, potato chips, coffee, cake and pie. * * * GEOLOGY Wives club held an informal Christmas party Saturday at St. Thomas Episcopal Chapel. Featured on the menu were punch, cheese dip, fritos and po tato chips. Couples exchanged in expensive gifts. * * * CHEMICAL ENGINEERING Wives Club held their Christmas party last night in the south sola rium of the YMCA. A Christmas story was presented and members listened to Christmas music. Sanfilippo, Alfred H. Cor des and Roger F. Alexander are the members of the Sax Trio that was declared winner of the fourth annual Aggie Talent Show Friday night in Guion Hall. The trio will represent A&M at the Intercollegiate Talent Show to be held here next April. They picked “Little Brown Jug” and “My Lean Baby” as their numbers in Friday night’s show. Runners-up in the show that played before some 2,000 people were Edward Burkhead and Martin Adams. Both are singers and are from Lamesa and Longview, re spectively.
