$500 Grant Op en
For Architects
Architecture students at A&M
are eligible for a $500 grant from j
Royal Tile Manufacturing company
of Port Worth to assist in their i
fifth year studies, according to E.
L. Wilson, president of the Texas j
Architectural foundation, an agen
cy of the Texas Society of Archi-
teifs.
The awarding of the grant will
be made to an outstanding fourth-
year student each year from either
A&M, the University of Texas, Rice
institute, Texas Tech or the Uni
versity of Houston.
The winner for the coming school
year will be announced May 1. Se
lection of the recipient, according
to Wilson, will be based upon “evi
dence of his good character, out
standing ability and his need and
purpose.”
