Cub Scouts of pack 802, their fam

night at the annual Blue and Gold
banquet in the A&M Consolidated
school cafeteria.
More than 30 awards to indivi
dual cubs for passing various tests
and a special award to the pack
will be made. A new pack flag
and a new American flag will be
presented, and a skit by den 5 will
be ' given as a part of the pro
gram.
Special guests and scout officials
invited to attend are Luther Jones,
cub commissioner; Leonard Me
Pherson, scout executive; J. B.
Hervey, institutional representa-
tiye; Bob Cherry, president of Ki-
wanis club, sponsors of the pack
802; Roland Dansby, chairman of
the Arrowmoon Scout district
Mrs. John M. Bair on, president of
the Ladies’ auxiliary of Brazos
County Post 4G92 of the VFW
which is donating the American
flag; and R. L. Elkins, commander
of the College Station American
I-legion Post 541, which is present
ing the Pack flag.
Jones will present an award from
the Sam Houston Area council for
achievements in attaining a re
quired number of advancements in

A few posts for physics laboratory stu
dent asSistantships for the present semester
are'vstiil open. Men who have completed
sophomore physics courses with superior
records are wanted to assist with labora-
tory instruction in several second semester
courses various morning and afternoon
periods throughout the week. The scale
of -compensation is .80 per hour for new
assistants and .90 per hour for experienced
assistants.
