During the summer terms The Battalion is published twice a week, and during examination and vacation periods, once a week. Days of publication are Tuesday through Friday for the regular school year, Tuesday and Thursday during the summer terms, and Thursday during examination and vacation periods. The Battalion is not published on the Wednesday immediately preceding Easter or Thanksgiving. Subscription rates are $9.00 per year or $.75 per month. Advertising rates furnished on request. SMBUTBef A&M Holstein Bull Gets Silver Medal Pabst Burke Ina, a registered Holstein bull in the A&M dairy herd, has qualified as a silver med al production sire according to standards of the Holstein-Friesian association of America. Dr. I. W. Rupel, head of the dairy husbandry department said the recognition is based on compari son of production records of the bull’s daughters and those of their dams. These comparison tests must in clude records of at least 10 daugh ter-dam teams, and all records must have been made under offi cial herd improvement registry or advanced registry test supervised by the college in cooperation with the association.
