Page 4 THE BATTALION Tuesday, April 13, 1954 Job Calls Increase Over Past Years There have been more job calls this year than in the past, but in terviewers are more selective, said W. R. Horsley, placement director. Some companies have found they could train personnel already em ployed for new jobs within the company instead of hiring college graduates, while many companies have found they can use college graduates where they couldn’t be fore, he added.
