This week will be “preparation
for the revival” week at the church,
and will include cottage prayer
meetings and church wide visita
tions in expectation of the revival
beginning Jan. 31. Dr. Herbert
Howard of Dallas will be the re
vival speaker.
St. Thomas Episcopal Church
“Bishop Quin’s Address To the
Diocesan Council” will be subject of
Rev. Darwall’s sermon Sunday.
Sunday’s schedule includes Cor
porate Communion for young peo
ple at 8 a.m, followed by breakfast.
Church school and morning prayer
and sermon are at 9:30 a.m. and
morning services at 11 a.m.
The vicar and a delegation from
St. Thomas will be attending the
council of the Diocese of Texas to
be held in Austin Sunday, Monday
and Tuesday.
Those going to the meeting are
Dr. Lee P. Thompson, Mr. and Mrs.
James Lerrct, and Mrs. Darwall.
St. Mary’s Catholic Chapel
Father Tim Valenta will conduct
mass at 9 a.m. Sunday. Confession
is from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Saturday
and before mass.
College Heights Assembly of God
Sunday school is at 9:45 a.m.
followed by morning worship at 11
a.m. Christ’s ambassadors meets
at 6:30 p.m.
Rev. Tumlinson’s radio program
can be heard at 8 a.m. Sunday over

engineering and science majors who have
