November.
Sen. McCarthy (R-Wis.) pre
pared a radio-television reply

Jenner promised the internal se
curity subcommittee, will have new
disclosures on the operations of al
leged spies in the Treasury after
White was promoted from assist
ant secretary there to the Interna
tional Monetary Fund.

statement from John W. Snyder,
who served as secretary of the
Treasury under Truman, that any
subversives in that department
were weeded out during his tenure.
“We happen to know better than
that,” Jenner said.
