Notice is hereby K'ven that a hearing will
be held in the City Hall of the City of
College Station. Texas, at 7 p.m. on
15. 1953 on the recommendations of the
Zoning Commission for zoning properties,
as provided in Ordinance No. 38, respec
tively as follows:

Sidney Maxwell, junior animal
husbandry major from Rockdale,
was elected president of the Kream
and Kow Klub recently.
Other officers elected are Joel
Hillin, vice - president; Charles
Keilers, secretary-treasurer; L. M.
Braziel, assistant secretary; Eddie
Thompson, program chairman;
Wayne Bradford, social secretary;
and Bert Hardaway, reporter. The
faculty advisor will be elected in
the fall.
Plans were made for the Par
ents Day activities. The group de
cided to have free ice cream at
the creamery, judging contests on
both dairy cattle and dairy pro
ducts and tours of the creamery
and new dairy center.
After the conclusion of the busi
ness, R. E. Burleson, extension
dairyman, gave a short talk on
some of the major marketing pro
blems of Texas dairymen.

Dr. M. E. Sadler
Grad Speaker Is
Famous for Work
A&M’s commencement speaker
this year is known throughout the
world for his work in religious,
educational, economic and civic
work.
As president of Texas Christian
University in Fort Worth, Dr. M.
E. Sadler guides the largest uni
versity operated by that church.
Born in Hoboken, N. J., he re-
cieved his BA degree from Atlantic
Christian College in Wilson, N. C.
He took his MA from Vanderbilt
and did graduate work at the LTni-
versity of Chicago.
After receiving his BD from
Yale, he took his PhD from the
same school in 1929.
In 1952 Sadler became president
of the Association of American
Colleges. At the first meeting of
the World Council of Churches in
Amsterdam, Holland, he represent
ed the Disciples of Christ. He is
now a director of this church coun
cil.
Sadler is a 32nd degree Scottish
Rite and Shrine Mason. He was
named Knight Commander of the
Court of Honor in 1947.
He is a past president of the
Fort Worth Rotary Club, and a
director of the Fort Worth chapter

as Agricultural Experiment Sta
tion from the. Abbot Laboratories
of Chicago, has been renewed, Di
rector R. D. Lewis said.
