‘Harvey’ Planned
ByAggie Players
The Ag-g-ie Players will present
the two-aet comedy “Harvey” May
8 and 9 in Guion Hall.
The play, which has been mnde
into a motion picture, tells the
story of a man who has a six-
foot, invisible white rabbit for a
friend.
In the cast are Harry Gooding,
Mrs. David H. Morgan, Iris Bul
lard, Mai’tha Jean Konnecny,
Elizabeth Cook, Virginia Lemons,
B. B. Smith, Bill Witty, Ted Castle,
Mrs. Walter H. Delaplane, Vick
Robinson, and Bill Withers.
Stage manager will be Jerry Mc
Farland and J. H. Shanks will
handle the lighting. C. K. Esten
is director of the Aggie Players.
“Harvey” also will be given at
Bryan Air Force Base May 6,
Esten said.

quality soccer, but a good pass
from A. P. Casas to Cardenas re
sulted in another Aggie score, and
they moved into a 2-1 lead.
Six minutes before the game
was over, a score by Serim of Tex
as knotted the count and the game
ended without further scoring.
Juan Letts of the Aggies was
particularly outstanding in the
game.
Referee for the game was
Valenti of Texas, who turned in a
very commendable job and pre
vented arguments and discussions
from breaking out.
At present, the Aggies lead the
league with five wins and two
ties. Texas is second with four
wins, a tie and a loss. An Aggie
loss to Allen coupled with two
Texas victories in their remaining
games is the only way in which
Texas might win the league pen
nant.
The game with Allen will be
played in Bryan on Wednesday
at 4:30 at Allen Field.
FORMER STUDENT—Lt. George M. Rodgers, ’50, son of
Mrs. Ara Lee Rodgers, 1018 East Milner, has been award
ed a Bronze Star Medal for meritorious service in Korrea.
He is now stationed at Ft. Sill, Okla., where he is com
mander of E Battery, in the Recruit Training Center.
