sparked Sq. 7 to a 14-0 Class A
football win over C FA Wednesday

Sq. 10, showing a strong ground
game, rolled to an easy 18-0 con
quest of AAA, Buzz Kennedy un
reeling several nice runs. In this
game also the losers failed to notch
a penetration, meaning that they
never crossed their opponent’s 40
yard line.
A Cml. nosed out Sq. 8, 7-6,
in the only contest in which both
teams scored. A Eng. blanked
Sq. 6, 6-0, and A Inf. shut out
Sq. 14, 12-0.
James Wise plunked in five field
goals in a 22-7 Sq. 6 basketball win
over B FA. Puss Blocker, Dick
Maihn, and Bill Hightower round
ed out the scoring with four points
jsach.
Sq. 5 scored a 13-11 court win
over A FA, holding the losers
scoreless throughout the second
half. Sq. 8 rolled over AAA, 19-9,
with Broussard bagging eight
points. C FA beat Sq. 7, 6-3, in
a tight defensive game, scoring all
their points in the first half while
holding Sq. 7 pointless.
A' Sig. and A Inf. scored 2-1
tennis decisions over Sq. 3 and Sq.
14 A Sig. won by scores of 8-6,
6-8, 8-0, A Inf. by scores of 3-8,
8-1, 8-0.

throbbing football win over Sq. 5

penei’tation. The final score was
12-12.
Rudy Henson had scored Sq. 5’s
first touchdown late in the first
half, circling left end. Bob Har
ris sewed again for Sq. 5 from 20
yards out. Carroll scored midway
through the second half on a 10
yard end sweep to start A Sig’s
comeback.
In other football gaems A FA
nudged Sq. 2, 6-0, Dittmar scoring
on a line buck, A TC trounced Sq.
15, 27-0, and ASA beat Sq. 11, 7-6.

fracked up ten points each to lead
Co. A to a 26-6 basketball win ov
er Co. D Tuesday. Malcolm Doug
lass poured in 11 points and C. D.
Gwin scored nine in a 30-18 Sq.
8 victory over AAA. Co. B down
ed Co. E, 10-5.
C. M. Robinson rolled up a score
of 182 as Sq. 4 registered a 400-
338 bowling decision over 9 QMC.
Other bowling results are as fol
lows: C FA over Sq. 10, 387-362;
Sq. 2 over A Comp., 317-298; Sq.
5 over A Sig., 330-319; and Sq.
7 over A Cml., 357-324.
Tuesday’s horseshoes results are
as follows: C FA over Sq. 16,
2-1; A QMC over A Inf., 2-1; B
Inf. over Sq. 14, 2-1; AAA over
A Eng., 2-0; A Cml. over Sq. 13,
2-1; and Sq. 7 over Sq. 4, 2-1.
Tennis matches were won as fol
lows: Sq. 18 over Co. F, 2-1; Co.
C over Sq. 21, 2-1; Sq. 11 over
ASA, 3-0; A Sig. over Sq. 13, 2-1;
Sq. 7 over A Eng., 2-1; and A Cml.
