In conference play so far, the Razoi'backs have a win over Baylor, and losses to TCU and Texas. The Razorbacks are expected to again mix up a series of offenses that were unleashed against Bay lor in their 20-17 victory earlier this year, but which only sputter ed against Texas University last week. They are expected to use the split-T, the deep split, and winged-T, and the tight-T. With, star quarterback Lamar McHan out, Sophomore Bob St. Pierre is expected to alternate in the quar terback and tailback posts with junior Ralph Troillett. Troillett engineered the winning touchdowns over Baylor after McHan was in jured. Expected to be at full strength again will be Lewis Carpenter, a man who can play just about any position on the team. Carpenter has played fullback, end, defensive end, and defensive linebacker, and has done a fine job at all positions. He is expected to start at the full back post Saturday against the Aggies, because of a shift in the backfield with the injured McHan out. Expected to be one of the clos est games so far this year Ar kansas comes' to Kyle Field with a 2 won 4 lost record, but no one STUDYING ? There are 23 returning lettermen of the squad. Six of these men have earned two previous letters. This week, it is either do or die for both teams. The Razorbacks have two conference losses which practically eliminates them. The Aggies have one defeat and a tie on theier record, and cannot lose another if they want to finish near the top this year. Arkansas was run over by TU recently by a 49-7 score, so they will be out for revenge. The Aggies are ready also after a stinging 21-20 loss to Baylor. This points up a good game with plenty of action. By GUS BECKER Associate Sports Editor * Last week was upset week, with some upsets occur.ng that we didn’t pick. This weekend every thing will run true to form with the favorites having little trouble from their opponents. The west coast will again fur nish the major upset of the week when California’s Golden Bears break loose against the UCLA Bru ins. California was an upset vic tim in last Saturday’s major upset, but will turn the table against the favored Bruins and halt their six game win streak. The Blue and Gold colors will win for sure, since both teams have these colors, but Johnny Ol- szwski of the Golden Bears is too much for the* Bruins to hold, it WfWW'Sc. *. x Mums the Word For Your Football Date Beautiful Mum Corsages $1.00 A Student Floral Concession (See Your Dorm Representative) looks like California, 26 to 7. The colors, Blue and Gold, will clash again when the Fighting Irish of Notre Dame and the Mid shipmen from the United States Naval Academy meet in their an nuel classic. The Fighting Irish may have found their stride, since they have won two straight, but the Midshipmen are always tough for the Irish. An upset for the Blue and Gold of Navy, 21 to 13.
