The Rev. Herbert Pollinard, a dormitory discussion leader who is pastor of the Main Street Christian Church in Waxahachie, willl be the guest speaker at the A&M Christian Church Sunday morning at 11. His subject will be “I Relieve—1 Don’t Believe.” Coffee Hour begins at 9:30 fol lowed by Sunday School at 9:45. The DSF meets at 5 p. m. for a snack supper and meeting. Tuesday at 7:15 p. m. the choir will prac tice. A&M Presbyterian Church Willis Tate, a dormitory discus sion leader who is vice-president of SMU, will speak at the morning worship service of the A&M Pres byterian Church Sunday at 11. Sunday night at 6:30 Rabbi David Jacobson will address the Stu dent League. Church school begins at 9:45. Junior and intermediate League begins at 5. Student fellowship follows Student League. The choir will practice at 7 p. m. Wednesday. Christian Science Services The Lesson-Sermon to be read at the Christian Science services in the YMCA Chapel at 11 a. m. Sunday is titled “Soul.” Bethel Lutheran Church The Rev. W. C. Peterson of the Bethel Lutheran Church said Col. Eugene J. Graebner, chaplain, will deliver the sermon Sunday- morn ing at 10:45. Wednesday night the Rev. Peterson will speak on the subject “How the Church Grows.” A youth party will be held at the Grace Lutheran Church in Brenham Tuesday night. Cars will leave from the church at 6:45. St. Thomas Episcopal Church The Rev. Lawrence L. Brown Will say the Morning Prayer at 11 a. m. Sunday. Holy Communion is at 8 a. m. Aggie Coffee Club, and Church School begin at 9:30 a. m. The evening Prayer is at 6:30 p. m. followed by Young People’s Service League at 7. Holy Communion is at 6:30 a. m. Wednesday Mowed by Aggie Breakfast. Evening Prayer and Canterbury Club are at 7:15. I First Baptist Church Prentiss W. Chunn, of the State I Baptist Student office who will be a dormitory discussion leader, will deliver the sermon at the morning worship service of the First Baptist Church Sunday at 10:50. Dr. W. E. Denham, Jr. will speak at the evening worship services beginning at 7:15. He is the main speaker for Religious Emphasis Week on the campus. Dr. Denham is pastor of the River Oaks Bap tist Church, Houston. Wayne Philpott from Baylor Will direct the music for both ser vices. Sunday School begins at 9:45 a. m. and Training Union at 6:15 p. m. Prayer service begins at 7:15 p. m. Wednesday. BSU vespers are held in the Bap tist Student Center Friday. The choir practices at 6:30. Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church t Dr. George Forell, a Religious Emphasis Week speaker from Chi cago will deliver the sermon at Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church Sunday morning at 10:45. His theme will be “Lessons In Love.” Church school and Bible classes begin at 9:30. The Lutheran Student Associa tion will not meet this week. The Women’s .Missionary Society meets Thursday at 7:30 in the church. Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints The Priesthood meeting of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is held each Sunday in the YMCA Chapel at 10 a. m. Gleissner, as sisted by Father Tim Valenta and Father Sylvester Fuchs will con duct masses Sunday morning at ‘Kum-DubV Class ToDedicate Chapel The “Kum-Dubl” couples class of the A&M Methodist church will dedicate The Upper Room Chapel, located in the third floor of the Methodist Church educational building Sunday. At the dedication, there will be a reunion of all old class members. . The dedication ceremonies will start with a special meeting at 9:30 Sunday morning for coffee, Which will be folowed by the regular Sun day School meeting at 10 a. m. Vir ginia and Ted Mullinix will give a history of the class, and D. L. Belcher, teacher-sponsor of the class, will give a special Sunday School lesson. Mr. and Mrs. Belch er together are teacher sponsors of the class. After Sunday School, the class will attend the regular church services, and then will gather again at 3:30 Sunday afternoon for the formal dedication of the class room. Leahy Resigns Directorship Research Group John Leahy, director of the Cotton Research Committee of Texas for the past 10 years, has resigned, it was an nounced here today following a meeting of the statewide com mittee.. Leahy said he planned to enter private business. Dr. A. W. Melloh, vice-director of the Texas Engineering Experi ment Station on the A&M campus, "was named as acting director for the Cotton Research Committee until a successor for Leahy can be appointed.
