Included in the district is the drive-in theater now being erected by A. P. Boyett on the site east of St. Mary’s Chapel. Milam and Roper, architects frqjn Dallas, have prepared plans and drawings of the business dis trict which allow for the parking of about 700 cars in the district. Business Area Architects’ ideas for possible developments in the area include such business houses as a super grocery, men shop, coffee shop, cafeteria, variety shop, clinic, cleaners, drug store, beauty shop, filling station, hardware, washa- teria, hobby shop, gift shop and shoe repair, Culpepper said the Oak Terrace residential subdivision and the Col lege Hills drea are comparable ex cept that it took 13 years to de velop College Hills. Robert Glenn “Doc” Blanchard, ’51 are to be married at 4 p. m. Saturday in the A&M Methodist Church. Miss Napier is the daughter of Col. and Mrs. E. W. Napier. Town Hall Cast (Continued from Page 1) they are now beginning. The letter came from a church school in Cal ifornia and asked that Miss Ger- heart not wear any jewelry or low cut dresses. As she always wears ballerina length dresses with frilly petticoats, she is afraid that she may still shock them despite the lack of jewel ly. Tonight’s Town Hall audience has a real treat in store for them when they meet Morley and Gear hart, even though the meeting will be across the footlights. If per sonality means anything in music, they will certainly be a hit. Five Groups Their program will consist of five groups of numbers. The first group will consist of Bach’s “Cho rale: Jesu, Joy of Man’s Desir ing” and Saint-Saens’ “Variations on a Theme of Beethoven.” Next the pair will combine tal ents for the Brahms “Eight Waltz es for Four Hands.” The third group consists of the “Can-Can” from the “Gay Parisian” by Offen bach, and “Habenera” by Ravel, and “An American in Paris” by Gershwin. Following the intefmission, Mor ley and Gearhart will present two numbers by Rachmaninoff— “Tears” and the “Prelude in G Minor.” The program will conclude with an arrangement of the “Ros- enkavalier” waltzes by Strauss, the “Flight of the Bumble Bee” by Rimsky Korsakoff and Manuel de Falla’s “Ritual Fire Dance.” The third group which is made up of numbers about France, and particularly Paris, are chosen from the duo-pianists recently released album, “Americans In Paris.” These numbers are particular fav orites of the duo. The pieces are gay and full of the atmosphere of the fun-loving Paris they knew as students.
