each day. In a couple of years, we
won't have the sam« old stereo
typed schedule facing ^ us at the
beginning of each new season.
The signing of VM! to play here
in October of 1P5U represents the
first change. The game with the
Virginia boys will take the Satur
day which has been jused before to
play LSU.
Playing that one 'here Ms a good
deal because ‘the conference sea
son opens the next weekend. Its
more desirable to have a., home
game than a road trip because the
team can be in better shape for
that opener against TCU the next
weekend.
i * .
According to a very . reliable
source, an announcement will be
made this weekend concerning the
latest change in the" A&M football
schedule. |
According to the source, A&M
has signled a contract to play a
prominent team on the west coast
in the. 1951 season opener.
