Agronomy jUass Visits Temple Area Members of. the Agronomy 418 class visited BiackUnd Experiment Station in Temple and the Elm Creek Water Shed Saturday. Dr. J. R. Johnston, superinten dent of the Blackland Experiment Station, conducted the trip through the experiment station. He showed the class methods of measuring soil loss, experimental crop rota tion systems, new varieties of clover, winter coVer crops and several other projects. Also, he told the group of some projects which are still in| the planning stage. On the Elm Crccjk Water Shed, conservation practices, pasture grasses, soil types and erosion con trol were pointed out and discussed with the group.
