slated to enter the broad jump.
Rice will have Augie Erfurth in
the hurdles and Olympic entry
Verne McGrew in the high jump.
Texas will not be as strong as
last year, but is far from weak
with such men as Charley Parker
in Y the 100 and sprint relays, John
Robertson in the broad jump and
sprint relays, Frank Guess and
Ray Marek in the javelin, Clay
Krames in the discus throw, and
Bob Walters in the high jump.
Perry Samuels and Desmond Kidd
will complete the combinations that
will defend the 440 and 880 relay
