Already Crowded,
Biology Head Says
The new Science Building, exist
ing in plans only, is already over
crowded, according to! Dr. C. C.
Doak, Biology Department head.
Both the Bioldgy and the Ento
mology Department will occupy
the building. Advanced courses in
biology will be crowded out. Ten
tative plans for an Entomology
Building across the street between
the A&I Building and the new
Science Building will a leviate this
shortage of space, Dr. Doak said.
Plans for the Science Building
have been completed and will be
open for bids sometimei this month,
according to Dr. Doak. i
The building will cpnjsist of three
floors; the first will lx? for fresh
man work in biology,’ the second
for work in botany aid the third
will be for zoology an4 bacteriolo
gy. Adequate space ajnd facilities
for undergraduate woijk in bacter
iology will be provided. Plans are
also being made for :an Oceano
graphy Department, i Dr. Doak
stated.

RABBITS LpRE CADDIES
SYDNEY—0®—Out in Goondi-
windi, golfers are mad with the
millions of rabbits in the district.
It’s not that they eat the greens,
burrow in the fairways, or steal
the balls. They merely lead the
caddies away from the course.
The trouble revolves around the
high prices of rabhit carcases and
rabbit skins. The local ex-caddies
now go rabbiting. Schoolboys make
up to $52 a wqek frpm rabbits in
their spare time. Clever rabbiters
are' making three times that
amount.* Goondiwindi is. the center
