Rifle Teams Will
Meet Saturday
Rifle teams from Texas Univer
sity and North Texas Agricultural
College will be on the campus this
weekend to fire matches with A&
M’s team, Philo Duval, team mem
ber, said today.
The matches are scheduled for
Saturday morning and will be the
first shoulder to shoulder matches
fired on the campus this year. AU
matches up to now have been fired
by mail, Duval said.
Competing for A&M will be
Cloyde Buchanan, Philo Duval,
George Kent, James McCulley,
Herbert Shelby, and Clifford Tay
lor.
Competition will be keen be
cause NTAC has a very good
team, but we expect to make a good
showing, M/Sgt. W. R. Reese, head
rifle team coach, said.
East Texas Club
To Hold Elections
The East Texas Club will meet
at 7:30 tonight in the YMCA
Lounge, Bill Hilliard, president,
announced today.
On the agenda will be the elec
tion of officers and a Cotton Ball
duchess, and forming of plans for
the Easter party, Hilliard added.
