‘Hi Yo, Silver! 9 , , , Fifty New Bucking Horses Added to Fort Worth Show Fifty new bucking- horses, in- - eluding: four ranked with the fam ous “Five Minutes to Midnight,” will be displayed at the Southwes tern Exposition and Fat Stock Show rodeo in Fort Worth January 28 through February 6. Tops among the new buckers are “Remember Me,” “The Old Gray Mare,” “Frontier Days” and “Pom- roy.” Four speciality acts featuring performers never before seen in the Fort Worth arena will be the added attraction. Eleven-year-old Don K. Reynolds of Van Nuys, of California, will do trick riding and roping, using a Shetland pony and a pair of matched Palominos. Capt. William Heyer of Sarasota Florida, will present his famous dancing mare, “Starless Night.” Oldtime square dances will be per formed on horseback by the Boom Town Mounted Square Dancers of Burkburnett, Texas. The Pope Pony Hitch, eight Shetland ponies owned and driven by E. 0. Pope of Fort Worth, will execute fig ures at full speed. Trick riders will be Dick Grif fith, Scottsdale, Arizona; Tad Lu cas, Fort Worth; Bernice Dossey, Chandler, Arizona; Don Wilcox, Tulsa, and Charlotte Reynolds, Van Nuys, California. AFS Texas Head Speaks Tomorrow Jake Dee, owner and president of the Dee Brass Company, Houston, will be the guest speaker for the student chapter of the American Foundrymen’s Society at the next chapter meeting. Lloyd Berryman, associate professor in the Mecha nical Engineering Department, made the announcement today. The meeting will be held Thurs day night, January 13, at 7:30 in Room 303, Mechanical Engineering Building.
