Hollywood should have taken notice of
the twenty mile chase scene enacted in Cali
fornia yesterday. The pursu ve rob

touch more heroic than the celluloid’s tradi

Five yeggs, after committing a robbery
of j some slight worth, decided to make a
dos, /lacking a car, and desirous of leaving
thi place, caught a conveniently passing
freight and prepared to settle down to a
oeaceful but pleasant trip. However they had
toned without the resourcefulness and
agility of our star, the sheriff. He too had
mide the train. i .]
The action: increased in tempo as the
ins, (hiss), learning of their danger,
ibed on top of the box cars and started
moving forward, followed by the deputy.
(Whistles and loud cheers.)
The drama was completed when three of
the robbers ran out of freight cars and were
captured in the coal tender by the pursuing
sheriff. Two of them had leaped from the
moving train to escape. The three who had
disliked dirtying their: clothes were lodged
in jail (Slow fade out The end.)
