i SECTION 1. The keeping of
animals and birds within the cor
porate limits of the City of College
Station resplts in flies, abno.yious
odors and annoying noises, nm|
hence endangers health and con
flicts with peaceful living, and
therefore is hereby declared to be
a public nuisance.
SECTION 2. It shall be unlaw
ful for any owner, lessee, occupant
or any other person in charge of
any premises within the corporate
limits of the City of College Sta
tion, Texas, to keep or allow to
be kept on said premises any
horses, mules, jacks, jennets,
swine, cattle, sheep, goats, rabbits,
chickens, guinea pigs, ducks, gbese,
guineas, turkeys, or any other do
mesticated or wild livestock or
birds, or any dogs unless such
dogs be kept strictly as pet$ by
the occupant of the premises^
SECTION 3. Any. person viiolat-
ing this ordinance shall be fined
not less than ton ($10.00) .dollars
nor more than fifty ($50.00) dol
lars for each offense. Each day
this ordinance i£ violated shall
constitute a separate offensci
