In an efllort to exploit the capabilities of animal hus
bandry department’s "profs” in the field of practical live
stock operations, the Little Southwestern. Livestock Show
on May 8 will include ati invitational matched "prof” pig r
roping contest.
j , Thirteen members of the A. IL department have vol
unteered their services in this new attraction.]
The men making up the pig roping team are “Wyom
ing Slim" Gray, "Cajen” .Robertson. "Artificial” Berry,
“Annex Chief” Siihruni, "Fancy Select” D-uhlberg, “Toot
Kb Up” Butler, j’Chew Em Out” Dana. "Shorty” Hale,
"Wild Bill” Warren. “Sleepy" Riggs, "Hi Pockets" Miller
"Speedv” Snyder, and "Ox Rider” Schrode. j
? Some of the wildest East Texas “rooters” obtainable
have been selected for the contest. To prevent injuries
-to the participants, several excellent pick up men will be
on hand while thbse elite but rough cowboys perform.
