it travels to Huntsville to meet the
Sam Houston Bearkats.
fti will be the second tilt between
the two clubs. The Farmers won
the first game by a 12-6 score
after spotting the Bearkats a six-

may replace Guy Wallace at that
position. Wallace, who leads thi
first year batters, may be shifted
to left field.
The remainder of the Fish infield
will' be the jsame. Sonny Bollman is
at third base while Joe Savarino
and Billy j McPherson share the
duties at the Keystone sack.
Behind the plate it will be cither
Bill Dennis or Bob Graham, but
regardless of who starts both

Teaming with Wallace in the
optfield will be Blanton Taylor,
another latie starter, and Bill War

inning. Vass hit a slow roller to
ward the short stop position. Both
third baseman Billy Kimbrough
and shortstop Hal Harris started
for the ball, then saw they might
collide, and each ducked letting the
ball roll into left field as Vass
stood up at second.
Beesley’s duties were made a
lot easier by a tight Aggie de
fense. Only one error was mark
ed against the maroon and white
and the combination of Thornton
to Lhtdloff to Frets accounted
for one double play. 4
Tall lanky Tom Chandler was the
only Baylor player able to get hold
of one of Beesley’s pitches. He did
so in the second inning. The Bruins
only error was charged against
catcher Hugo Pearson. Center fiel
der Chuck Devereaux accounted for
the beat defensive play of the day.
