of this year, Rev. Mgebroff was
called as full time student minister
for A. & M. by the Student Service
Commission of the National Luth
eran Council. As u pre-requisite for
this assignment,; he attended two
summer courses in specialized
training for student and vocational
counseling. After serving at this
college Tor t(hree| years, he will be
gligible for reassignment or a
transfer to another college. He!
has served ‘as part-time minister
at A. & M. for the past two years.
In addition fo citing for the needs
of the students- he will serve as
pastor of the ideal branch of the
American Lytheran Organization
which holds services at the ‘Y’.
The local Lutheran Organization
has received a gift appropriation
of $25,000' from the Student Service
Commission of the National Lu
theran Counsel. This contribution
will be used to construct a building
on a plot of land located two blocks
north of the postoffice. Included in
the building will be a chapel, stu
dent center andi parsonage. Con
struction w}!!! begin as soon as
the architecjt, William Nash, com
pletes the plans.
Rev. Mgebroff is a member of
the Parish Education Committee of
the American Lutheran Church.
The purpose of this committee is
to make plans for Lutheran Sun
day schools,! league and Bible
schools throughopt the American
Lutheran Churches. In connection
with this Work, Rev. Mgebroff
