Kiwanis Feet Pat
To Rambler Jive
By W. K. COLVILLE
The Kiwanis Club wined and
dined yesterday at their weekly
luncheon while the Aggie' Ram
blers, their guests and entertain
ers, dined—then whined.
When the after-dinner remarks
had been quieted down, the Ram
biers took the spotlight and broke
into some hot cowboy jive that
set even a visitor from Illinois to
patting his foot The Ramblers con
sist of a mate of musical instru
ments held together by strings,
keys, octaves, and six Aggies with
s good ear for cowboy music. The
Happy Cowboy,” “Just Because,"
and “Have I Told You Lately That
I Love You” were the tunes on the
program, but the Kiwanis members
applauded The Ramblers into play
ing sneorss until time for every
one to resume his drudgery.
The Kiwanis Club urged every
one to be present for tha commu
nity supper Thursday night at
Consolidated High Mimd with tur
key and epaghatti on the menu.
