Air Reserve Training To
Be Cut At 29 Air Bases
The Army Air Forces announced
recently that because of “the fis
cal limitations” of the current bud
get the Air Reserve training pro
gram will be discontinued at
twenty nine bases. Included in the
number will be: Bergstrom Field,
Austin; Ft. Worth Air Base; Good-
fellow Field, San Angelo; and
Biggs Field, El Paso.
Fort Worth Club Meets Tonight
Plans for a spring dance with
the TSCW club will be arranged
by the Fort Worth A & M Club
this evening at 7:15 o’clock. The
club will meet in the Science Lec
ture Room.
Heaton, Perryman
To Attend Meeting
Of State Registrars
H. L. Heaton, registrar, and
R. G. Perryman, assistant regis
trar at A & M, will attend the
twenty-fifth convention of the
Texas Association of Collegiate
Registrars in San Antonio March
2-4. Every college and university
in the state will be represented
at the three-day affair to be held
in the Gunter Hotel. .
Heaton, president of the asso
ciation, will preside at the meet
ings, and Perryman will address
the group on “The Testing Pro
gram and Its Use at the A & M
College of Texas” at the March
4 meeting.

Each candidate for the degree of Mas
er of Science or Master of Education who
expects to complete the requirements for
his degree in the current semester should
file a complete course of study, thesis
project (if a Master of Science degree),
and notice of expectation to complete,
with the Dean of the Graduate School
without delay.
Theses, approved by the head of the

for the purpose of organizing a
local chapter. Miss Milleret has
requested that all local sorority

Beta Sigma Phi has 2000 chap
ters in the 48 states of the U. S.,
Canada, England, Scotland, Mexi
co, and Alaska. The membership
totals around 55,000 people.
The sorority furnishes members
with educational and social acti

local communities in various ways
such as sponsoring concerts and
