The Texas A. & M. student chap
ter of the American Chemical So
ciety will hold its regular meeting
at 7:00 p. m. Tuesday in Room 10
of the Chemistry Building.
Mr. R. L. Bolin will give an in
teresting talk on rocket power.
DALLAS CLUB WILL
DISCUSS EASTER PARTY
There will be a meeting of the
Dallas Club Tuesday night at 7:00
o’clock in the new “Y.” Plans for
the Easter party will be discussed.
All Dallas Aggies and ex-service
men are invited to attend.

ATTENTION, CLASS OF ’45
The class of ’45 will have a
class party Tuesday night, April
16, at 8 o’clock. The party will
be held at “Uncle Ed’s”, and it
will be stag or drag. All men in
the class of ’45 are urged to at
tend.
Pre-Med Club Discusses
Plans for Med School Trip
The Texas A. & M. Pre-Med Soci
ety met Wednesday, April 10, with
Dr. George E. Potter, sponsor of
the society and pre-med advisor
for the college, and discussed plans
for a trip to be made soon, either to
Texas u. medical school in Galves
ton or Baylor medical school in
Houston.
The society intends to resume
these trips which were made an
nually in pre-war years. The pur
pose is to acquaint the student with
life and functions of a medical
school.
All pre-med students are urged
to join the club. Meetings are held
bi-monthly in the Science hall.

named general chairman for the
annual Musical Silver Tea to be
held at the A. & M. Methodist
Church on April 28.

Baseball May 11
The Graduate Club met Thurs
day evening in the Y. M. C. A. for
the regular monthly meeting with
the president, D. C. Marsh, pre
siding.
A chicken barbecue will be held
on Saturday, May 11th, at the
country home of Dr. Charles La-
Motte. It will include a soft base
ball game, and an outdoor motion
picture.
The guest speaker of the eve
ning, Dr. Paul D. Pearson from
Texas Agricultural Experiment
Station, was introduced and he
gave a most interesting discussion
on “Graduate Study and Research.”
Refreshments were served at the
conclusion of the meeting with
,,Mrs. Nadine Steele and Mrs. Bessie
Lee Cavin as hostesses.
Waco-McLennan County
Club Meets Tomorrow Eve
There will be a meeting of the
Waco-McLennan County A. & M.
club in room 206 of the Academic
building Tuesday evening at 7:00.

NOTICE TO THE RESIDENTS OF THE
CITY OF COLLEGE STATION
The City has certain zoning ordinances
which must be compiled with. There is also
a City Ordinance which requires building
permits to be secured from the City Office
before construction is begun. Please co
operate with the City in this matter as it
makes it much easier on both parties. There
are also restrictions in certain areas in
which the City has no jurisdiction over set
up by developers, and you will note this is
referred to in your deeds and abstracts. I
would suggest that you contact the devel
opers in the area in which you purchase
property relative to these restrictions.

SUMMER SESSION REGISTRATION—
Registration for the Summer Session will
occur too soon after the close of the cur-
:ent semester to enable the deans to re
ceive and check the records of students on
probation during the current semester,
chough the grades will have been posted and
students themselves will know whether or
not they have met the terms of their pro
bation. Students who have not met the
terms of their probation who register for
the Summer School before their records for
the spring semester can be checked do so
at their own risk and may be required
