CLUBS
Brazos Aggies Set
Back Club Meeting
W. R. Carmichael, president of
the Brazos County A. & M. Club,
announces postponement of the
club’s February meeting from
Tuesday to Thursday night, as
the former date would be in con
flict with the second Texas Aggie
Arkansas basketball game.
The meeting now will be held
Thursday, 7:30 p. m. at the Bryan
Country Club and will feature
showing of moving pictures of the
State championship high school
football game between Waco and
Highland Park, Carmichael said.
Other business will include dis
cussion of a committee report on
the club combining the annual “T”
banquet and the club’s Christmas
party honoring members of the
Texas Aggie football and cross
country teams. Other committee
reports* will be presented, and the
meeting will close with a general
talk-fest.
At last, we’ve come out of hy
bernation up this way. We’ve just
about recuperated aftjer exams,
registering, and what not. For
about two weeks TSCW couldn’t see
the light, but now the dawn and
things are rolling up here once
more. Honestly, we all had those
registration day blues and students
kept crying, “I’ake me back to the
dorm, my feet are killing me.” It
was heck.
Registration is all over until next
year, and for some of us, over
entirely. The seniors are beginning
to realize that this is their last
semester in Tessieland, and it’s
quite sad when you get to think
ing. Guess you seniors down in Ag-
Official Notices
gieland feel the same way. For
four years you struggle, hope, and
do your darndest to graduate, and
then when the time comes, it’s a
sad event. You begin remembering
all the fun you’ve had and all
those little traditions you’ll miss.
This is true since the traditions of
TSCW and A&M have always made
them outstanding.
We’re going to miss Bill’s column
about Aggieland, but let’s not lose
all contact with each other. I’ve
heard lots of students here express
their liking for the column and
after reading his last one, are sor
ry he isn’t going to continue..
