BOYD Dr. Charlie Boyd, a meat in spector for the city of Houston, explained the duties of a veteri narian in city health work in a talk to the Jr. AMVA chapter here Wednesday night in the amphi theatre of the Veterinary Hospital. Dr. Boyd is a ’45 graduate of the A. & M. Veterinary School. The chapter will hold the an nual AMV dance on April 23, ac cording to plans presented at the meeting. Chas. Crabtree Elected Head of Singing Cadets Charles Crabtree was elected president of the A. & M. Singing Cadets at their tri-annual election meeting. Fount Ray is vice-presi dent; Charles (Burr) Thoma is secretary. Bob Featherwood was named music librarian and John Smith publicity chairman. The Singing Cadets are anxious to hear from students who like to sing, but who have been too bash ful to come forward and join the group. By its nature, the member ship of the choir is not rigorously limited, and there is room for many more members.
