Dallas Aggies Hold
Party Over Weekend
Last Saturday night the Dallas
A. & M. Club got together out at
Louann’s in Dallas to have an old
Aggie Party. Enough tables were
reserved by the club ahead of time
to accommodate th large number
of Dallas Aggies and Aggie-Exes.
The party began about 9:00
o’clock and lasted well after mid
night. The Aggie War Hymn and
the Spirit of Aggieland were sung
during a hearty yell practice that
lasted about half an hour. After
the yell practice most of the dance
floot was overrun by the Dallas
Aggies who were really on the
lookout for interfering Tea sip-
pers.
Recordings of the War Hymn
were played by “Lou” and everyone
including supporters helped out
with the songs. Most everyone
present decided that the midsemes
ter unofficial holiday was spent
the best possible way. At the next
meeting the club members will ar
range a picnic or party at White
Rock Lake.
