Thursday, Sep tember 16 in the gymnasium of the Consolidated School, according to Dr. Ide P. Trotter, Chairman of the Cub Scout Committee. Although Cubbing has not been pushed throughout the entire sum mer, some of the Dens have con tinued their work with only very short periods in which meetings were not held. Some outstanding advancements have been made by those Cubs who remained active including some very unusual shop work . All parents of boys of Cub age from nine through eleven, in the College Station area are invited to attend this meeting and bring their Cub or propective Cub. It is especially desired that new boys in the community be present. Any Cub or any Den having examples of outstanding work they have done during the summer is requested to bring it along for display at the Pack meeting. A full attendance is desired in order that registration may be planned and completed promptly and the work of the year gotten under way in the quickest possible time. Each Cub Den is expected to have one Cub prepared to make a two-minute talk on a topic like “What I Get out of Cubbing.” From the three talks of this type made to the Pack the audience will be asked to select the Cub and the talk they consider best qualified for presentation on the Boys Scout Radio Program, Sep tember 21. Some Cub has a chance to break into radio and it is ex pected the competition will be keen.
