Tragedy
Flora met Katrinka at the grocery store. She
hadn’t seen her friend for a fortnight. Katrinka was
alone.
“Hfello, Katrinka, where’s Wilberforce?”
“Hello, Flora,” greeted Katrinka. “Haven’t you
heard?”
“No.”
“Wilberforce and I are divorced.”
“But I thought you two were getting along swell.
What happened?”
“First promise me that you won’t tell a soul.”
